Men, anal sex and desire: Who wants what?
Article Abstract:
The meaning and motivation of anal sex in men is discussed through a description of Sigmund Freud's opinions, the view of a radical sex theorist and a Lacanian perspective. Power dynamics, identity and gender are discussed in relation to the issue, while examining the role of anal sex as cultural signifier.
