Article Abstract:
A study uncovers how miscommunication problems stemming from fixed-line telephony between generations can transfer into mobile phone usage. The frustration people often feel when dealing with voicemail and answering machine, which increases with mobile telephony where there is less chance of the receiving party being genuinely 'out' and unavailable, is discussed.

It is not certain why the Education Commission feels that each school should have broadband connection to the Internet, when it is not clear that children benefit from computers in the classroom. Children need core skills such as mathematics and reading before they can benefit from computers.
