Continuing to serve at VA

Article Abstract:

The Office of Information Technology at Washington DC, has started a program of hiring wounded, young GIs recovering at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in October 2004, who have an uncertain future, and are missing limbs and have disfiguring burns, from battles in Iraq and Afghanistan. This will benefit the veterans with employment, and who can also divide their time between VA and Walter Reed Army Center, where they continue rehabilitation therapy.

Artworks' networks: field, system or mediators?

Article Abstract:

The debate on the varying schools of thought on whether works of art are open to commentary or research is presented. The approaches developed by Lyotard, Bourdieu, Luhmann and Hennion and Latour towards sociology of art is discussed and it is suggested that all approaches have implications on each other, which also reveal social theoretical convergence.
