The multiple faces of conflict in organizations
Article Abstract:
A disputing model of conflict management is presented. The disputing model is similar to the conflict model of organization insamuch that conflict is an essential part of the organization and that conflict management does not connote conflict resolution. The disputing model emphasizes the cognitive aspects of conflict such as its conscious and unconscious motives, processes and methods and timing of articulation.

Status inconsistency in organizations: from social hierarchy to stress
Article Abstract:
The concept of status inconsistency may be used in explaining the effects of demographic factors on occupational stress. Status inconsistency occurs when people's demographic statuses do not coincide with their ranks at work. This situation is believed to cause stress. The construct may have several applications in the field of occupational research as a mediating, moderating or as a dependent variable.
