Embodied technological progress, technology-related producer inputs, and regional factors in a firm-level model of growth
Article Abstract:
Analysis of the link between industrial growth and technology is undertaken via the use of a micro-based model that incorporates firm-level statistics on the computer and electronics sectors. The methodology used is least squares analysis. Results show that investments in research and development activities and the renewal of capital are important factors for production growth.
