Encounters at checkpoints: a longitudinal study of a group of Israeli and a group of Palestinian children
Article Abstract:
A study was carried out on Israeli and Palestinian children to show that childhood histories are marked by political events that affect them later on in life. The resolution worked out by each child to solve this problem depended on individual temperaments, different family styles of resolution, school environments and external events.

The contraceptive revolution in Israel: changing family planning practice among ethnoimmigrant groups

The author discusses the shift by the Israelis to more effective contraceptive methods between 1974 and 1988. Variations in family planning usage among immigrant and ethnic populations are addressed.
