Experimental experimentation as a linking mechanism in the process of innovation
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to examine the influence of science on the process of innovation using a couple of case studies from Germany. The capacity of scientific research to change uncertainty of knowledge into certainty was also analyzed. Results indicated that science is a social process and that the practices of scientists are correlated with negotiation and opportunism. Findings also showed that networks of innovation support heterogeneous functional operations and coordinates differences in decision making.
