New, technology-based firms in innovation networks symplectic and generative impacts
Article Abstract:
New, technology-based companies are mutually complementary manufacturers of new technologies, majority of which function in environments where resource-based logic can be implemented. They are entities whose main economic impact can be attributed to technology interactions taking place between them and their operating environment. Large technology-based companies are seen as major players in the technology production process while smaller companies act as providers of specialized technology inputs.
