'On me, not in me': locating affect in nationalism after AIDS
Article Abstract:
The neoconservative right has promulgated a new form of political love disguised as a return to traditional values, in response to AIDS and the conflict with the gay left. The way in which love is connected with nationalism in some conservative and crypto-conservative websites points to a dangerous new ideology of sex and love.
