Wheels: dream or nightmare? The case for true-cost pricing in the transportation sector
Article Abstract:
The true-cost pricing of automobile transportation has been studied. Automobile travel has proven to have a positive impact on the economy and has made goods and services more accessible to a wider portion of the American public. Automobiles were also critical in the achievement of the American Dream by facilitating the movement to and from suburbs. However, the use of motor vehicles has also led to pollution, congestion, personal injuries and the loss of lives.

Article Abstract:
The importance of transportation and its conservation was discussed, as the universal problem was the resistance to transportation systems as the focus was more on competition than on cooperation. The results revealed the need for complete global transport system capable of supporting a more viable and accessible planet and international service providers.
