Complex global microstructures: The new terrorist societies
Article Abstract:
The emergence of global microstructures of forms of connectivity and coordination that combine global reach with microstructural mechanims that instantiate self-organizing principles and patterns is illustrated. The new terrorism is plausible for the complex global microstructures, which help to collect and assess empirical evidence for the architecture of the global structure form of a world society and a theory of microstructural patterns that develop in the shadow of national and local institutional patterns.

Recasting competitiveness: attractive societies and the surprising disappearance of tradeoffs
Article Abstract:
The advent of globalization has led to a redefinition of the virtues of competitiveness.
