Article Abstract:
Research on different graduate student nationalities in the U.S. suggests that the less-developed a country is internationally, the more elites of such a country choose to move internationally in their educations and careers. In order to lessen the incidence of non-return or professional disengagement from issues of high importance in sending countries, government efforts are required to facilitate return along with non-governmental or professional social diaspora networks, might be the means to develop patterns of student migration.

Should the stagnant homeownership rate be a source of concern?
Article Abstract:
The impact of economic conditions on homeownership rate is evaluated by considering the changes brought by demographic factors in the choice of household type, the making of tenure-choice options within each household type and the influence of changing ownership tastes. Between 1980 and 1990, the collective influence of these factors increased ownership rate by 3.1%. However, since the actual ownership rate lessened by 0.2% it could be concluded that economic conditions has no effect on ownership rate between the covered period.
