The United State's manufacturing sector is a primary source of innovation and productivity growth in the domestic economy. The use of IR has been shown to be a primary ingredient in enhancing productivity, the development and integration of IT products in to the design of products, their production and maintenance, and it is observed that the services chain has been pioneered in the manufacturing sector.
