What Is Wrong with the U.S. Health Care System?: It Does Not Effectively Exist for One of Every Five Americans

Article Abstract:

An evaluation of America's medical services system is presented, focusing on the role of insurance in directing and prioritizing treatment. It is posited that the system is too reliant on the dictates of insurance coverage, as this creates a disparity between the wealthy, who can afford insurance, and the poor, who cannot.
