World trends in water law
Article Abstract:
Water laws will see further changes and supplemental action worldwide. Lagging jurisdictions will be forced to implement amendments due to the pressures of demand, technology, revisionary water legislation and changes in customary law. The most important change observed is a new legal attitude recognizing the hydrologic cycle. This perception is different from the traditional separation of water law in the Civil Law and in the Anglo-American Common Law.
