The world's growing inventory of civil spent fuel
Article Abstract:
The large accumulation of spent fuel from civil nuclear power reactors is a significant problem for both the nuclear non-proliferation regime and the nuclear industry. There is no permanent geologic repository to take spent fuel or high level waste, although significant geologic disposal programs are underway in the US and some other countries. Sites for spent fuel inventories need to be chosen to facilitate final disposal following interim storage, and a site under investigation for a geologic repository is within the DOE's Nevada Test Site, 80 miles from Las Vegas.

The strength of enthusiasm
Article Abstract:
Enthusiasm inspires people to pursue greater things in life and is behind every effort for improvement. Without enthusiasm, goals will never prosper and achieve fulfillment. While it is often beneficial, it can also become a source of failure and evil, a fact that must never be overlooked.
