Automatic emotion regulation during anger provocation
Article Abstract:
An experimental manipulation is used to test whether automatic emotion regulation is an effective means of reducing anger. Findings indicate that priming emotion control reduces negative emotion experience without maladaptive cardiovascular responding.

A cross-national investigation of deforestation, debt, state fiscal capacity, and the environmental Kuznets curve
Article Abstract:
The influence of escalating debt levels of the 1980s on deforestation is examined from 1990 to 1995. The rate of deforestation is negatively influenced by the state fiscal capacity but there is a positive effect of long-term debt on forest loss.
