Compassion, suffering and the self: a moral psychology of social justice

Article Abstract:

Harm, suffering and injustice are a part and parcel of contemporary western society and are strengthened by organization and institutional policies and practices. The article suggests that a meaningful social transformation can be achieved by the practice of the virtue of compassion which can help in achieving social justice and the flourishing of the human spirit.

Crewmember performance before, during, and after spaceflight

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted to evaluate the feasibility and sensitivity of repeated performance testing during the spaceflight. The results revealed that the verbal rating of fatigue increased during spaceflight and decreased during the postflight sessions, whereas arousal ratings increased during space flight and decreased postflight.
