Trovafloxacin
Article Abstract:
Trovaflaxocin for oral use and alatroflaxacin for intravenous use are aimed at a wide range of infections. Marketed by Pfizer as Trovan and Trovan IV, respectively, they are intended to treat infections such as pneumonia, whether community or hospital-acquired, chronic bronchitis, abdominal and pelvic infections, diabetic foot infection, prostatitis, gonorrhea and others. Very few trials have been published, but abstracts indicate it is effective against gonorrhea and pneumonia. No tests have been done on safety for more than four weeks of use, and it is not recommended for children or pregnant women.

The new computer software program, ETHNO, has been devised to help researchers analyze and understand the actions described in historical and ethnographic narratives. It is user friendly and accurate. It has nine technical features, including the capacity for 'event structure analysis' (ESA), and it costs 50 dollars.

Fictional detective Sherlock Holmes is an incredibly wise and religious teacher, despite Dr. Watson's protestations that Holmes is insensitive and has no interest in organized religion. Issues concerning the interpretation of detective stories as religious parables are discussed.
