Review essay: Unmaking Goliath

Article Abstract:

James DeFilippis's book, 'Unmaking Goliath' aims at producing local autonomy and a new urban politics, wherein all the localities and cities can ensure their equitable economic growth by forming their individual capital and power. The proposed ideas are very difficult to put into practice and are only possible by the mutual contribution of capital at local and the global level, as the communities are economically divested and lack participation in the prevailing conditions.
