Telling stories about men
Article Abstract:
Books about men by men are increasing in number, especially those which tell of the male condition in a candid and reflexive manner. The growing literature by men on men and masculinity indicates that men are recounting their stories in new ways. It also suggests the emergence of new voices, which stems partly from the presence of new audiences willing to listen to them. These new stories by men are modeled after the deminist style of telling one's own story and sharing personal experiences.

More than just a fashion magazine
Article Abstract:
An investigation is carried out to examine the ongoing relationships negotiated between fashion magazine staff, their readers, advertisers, and the fashion world that the magazines represent. Fashion magazines are cultural products, characterized by a multiple-audience property, linking cultural production to the reception of fashion, identifying the concept of fashion, and transforming fashion as an abstract idea and aesthetic discourse into everyday dress.
