BT pays for RSI cases
Article Abstract:
British Telecom (BT) has made an out-of-court settlement with 11 former data processing officers who claimed they had developed repetitive strain injury (RSI) while working for BT. Liability has not been admitted by BT. National Communications Union (NCU), who acted on behalf of the workers, and BT are considering the establishment of a payment scale for similar future RSI claims according to the level of disability. Legal action is considered too costly.
