Article Abstract:
Ballroom dancing in its early stages reflected male and female relationships in a cultural sphere and also served a courting function. Today, ballroom dancing continues to display its appeal in evoking a certain cultural ambience. Whether it may be tango, rumba or waltz, the ballroom dance enlivens and blends its participants into a style that glorifies a man's conquest of a woman.
