What difference does it make? contrasting organization and converging outcomes regarding the privatization of state social work in England and Canada
Article Abstract:
The extent to which privatization has impacted social work in England and Canada is examined. It is observed that the disparities once evident in the two systems have narrowed considerably, due to radical market reforms in the social work labor process amongst others.

The increasing concerns about rediscovering community attachment in post-socialist urban China are highlighted. Three different perspectives on community work in a Western context are examined to understand how best these concerns can be addressed.
