Atrial fibrillation

Article Abstract:

Atrial fibrillation is the rapid and irregular beating of the upper chambers of the heart. This increases the risk for stroke as there is a higher chance of a blood clot forming in the rapidly beating atrium. Diving may be a stimulus in the initiation of fibrillation among prone patients.
