A guide on the proper use of 14 basic segments in constructing a video that will record a dive trip is presented. Among these basic segments are a group establishing shot, boarding the boat, entering the water, underwater establishing shots and the underwater action itself.

Underwater video for senior divers

A growing number of senior divers are taking underwater video. Shooting underwater video can also improve diving skills. Basic Hi-8 camcorders without flip-out viewing screens are recommended to senior divers.
