Divers need to be aware of the decompression requirements when diving to a particular altitude and the potential hazards when diving in partially submerged wrecks. Tremendous wind drafts generated by surge and moving objects are dangerous in partially submerged wrecks.

Abnormal shells and piracy
Article Abstract:
Shells from mollusks living in polluted waters often exhibit abnormalities such as melanism and rostration. Melanism is the dark discoloration of the shells. Examples of these abnormalities in the cowry Cypraea fimbriata are presented.
