The Blacktip shark
Article Abstract:
The Blacktip shark, Carcharhinus limbatus, is found only in tropical and subtropical oceans. It is highly similar to the Blacktip Reef shark, but the black tips on its anal and dorsal fins are not as distinctive as the former. It also grows longer, reaching a length of eight feet, nd has a more pointed snout than the Blacktip Reef shark.

The Leopard Shark, Triakis semifasciata, is easy to identify because of its distinct pattern of black saddles and spots. However, divers rarely encounter this fish in their underwater travels because it is extremely shy and avoids humans.

The Silky Shark is a member of the Requiem family and it is characterized by its sleek body, circular eyes and double dorsal fin. The Silky Shark is not dangerous but care must be taken as it is known to bite humans.
