Searching for lost things under the sea involves certain skills, techniques and the proper equipment. Divers should not rely only on the information they are given, but use them as clues in relocating the item. Simple rules for conducting an underwater search operation are discussed.

Feeling stress is a common experience during skin diving. Stress can be controlled by planning, proper training, good equipment choices and a compatible dive buddy. An analysis can eliminate sources of stress in future dives.

West Coast lobstering

Lobster hunting is best done when the water is warm enough and the lobsters have transferred to shallower, easier-to-dive spots. While day diving is ideal, night diving is also a good alternative.
