A new clot blaster: laser technique stops heart attacks fast
Article Abstract:
Laser thrombolysis has the 'potential' capability of removing an entire clot in an artery within 90 seconds. The new laser treatment remains experimental, but it is considered a major alternative for heart attack patients who do not respond to balloon angioplasty or clot-busting enzymes.

Relief for insomnia may be provided by a device that emits radio waves. The device will soon be tested in Food and Drug Administration trials, but early results show that insomniacs fall asleep faster and sleep longer with the device.
