Golf historian Patrick Leahy accumulated a wealth of knowledge throughout his life and was a major contributor to Golf Magazine until his death in 1996 at the age of 48. His vast and impecable golf archives, which he had stored away in his home, will become his legacy.

Pace ratings for golf courses, identifying slow professional players and grading golf resorts according to pace can improve the slow pace of golf in the US. Six additional suggestions are discussed.
