The establishment of the 'Ladies Cruise' event, an annual sail to the Nonsuch Bay, enabled a circle of women friends to hone their sailing skills and endear themselves further to each other. The event also tested the women's skill in dealing with other people, such as charter boat operators, which eventually provided each cruise with its memorable moments.
