Do we need a law setting a minimum hospital stay after a mastectomy?
Article Abstract:
Opponents of legal requirements concerning mastectomy related hospital stays claim that hospitals and Health Maintenance Organizations should be free to judge the need for such a stay on an individual basis. Those supporting a law say that cost has become too great a factor in medical decision making.
