Mountain sickness affects people seemingly randomly. Symptoms include lightheadedness, clouded thinking, impaired breathing, vomiting and more serious problems. Sportsmen should acclimate themselves by sleeping in town before climbing, making a low camp, restricting daily climbing and resting.

Article Abstract:

Lightning storms present a dangerous situation for anyone who insists on fishing under such conditions. People who ignore the potential danger of lightning run the risk of being one of an estimated 1000 people per year who are struck by lightning, many of them outdoorsmen.
