Summerhays played every event he was eligible for in 1996 and continues into 1997. He made the top 31 in the 1995 Senior Tour winning $729,000 and in 1996, winning $450,000. His family is supportive of his career as he strives for another win. Seven of his children have been caddies for him.

Grizzled veteran

Article Abstract:

Buddy Allin survived the Vietnam War and two bouts of lymph node cancer to qualify for the Senior PGA Tour in 1994. Allin was a contender on the regular Tour in the early 1970s but quit in 1978 when his game deteriorated.
