Motorcycle collector Peter Arundel's interest in a lost prototype motorbike combining a Rapide engine from Vincent and an Indian Chief chassis prompted him to build one. Despite encountering many technical difficulties, he was able to see the project to completion.

Hall of Famers converge on Springfield
Article Abstract:
The 15th round of the 1998 AMA Grand National Dirt-Track Series attracted a sell-out crowd. Aside from the Hall of Fame race and a motorcycle gear exhibit, the event marked the induction of the first 24 members into the Dirt Track Hall of Fame.

Langtown!

The 1998 World Championship of Backyard Supercross was held at the Langtown track in Southern California. The race, organized by former motorcycle racer Bob Langin, attracted more than 50 minibike racers. Jimmy Lewis won the event.
