Article Abstract:
An expert team from John Hopkins University, the American Society, and the American Academy of Pediatrics state that the babies born through In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) or Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) are at a twofold increased risk of prematurity, low birthweight and death around the time of birth compared with naturally conceived children. The ART kids have less risk of birth defects, cancer and growth or psychosocial developmental problems.
