Wheelchair racing shares features such as, high performance vehicles, windbreaking and a smooth racecourse with bicycle racing but has always been a branch of running racing. Its athletes should insist on their own competitions rather than share the spotlight and prize money of running racing.

Remembering Ron Daws
Article Abstract:
The 55-year-old marathon running and author of 'Running Your Best' died of advanced coronary disease, although he was active, never overweight and a non-smoker. Daws inspired many runners and was instrumental in furthering the sport.
