Yamaha Motor Co Ltd's new YZF-R1 motorcycle is the company's answer to Honda's CBR900RR sportbike. The new YZF-R1 runs on an all-new 20-valve engine that produces 150 hp at the crank and 130 hp at the rear wheel. It also sports a newly-designed lightweight chassis for easy handling.
