ZX-9R, ZX-6R: faster, lighter, racier, cooler

Honda's CBR900RR has beaten Kawasaki's ZX-9 in terms of 1995 sales because of its lightness and consequently faster performance. However, Kawasaki came up with an improved ZX-9 which can outperform Honda 900. The new ZX-9 is more powerful than its 125 hp predecessor and lighter than the Honda 900.

The Muzzy SB-750 Raptor is a lighter yet more powerful version of Kawasaki's ZX-7R Superbike. The Raptor's 125 hp engine is capable of reaching a 173-mph speed, which matches that of sportbikes. The Raptor was developed by Rob Muzzy and is sold at $18,000 per unit.
