ABS approves new LNG concepts
Article Abstract:
The American Bureau of Shipping has recently given an 'Approval In Principle' (AIP) to two companies. The first company to receive it is ConocoPhillips for its new proprietary Prism/Pyramid tank for large liquefied natural gas carriers. The other company to receive it is ABB Lummus Global for its novel concept for a liquefied natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas, floating production storage and offloading unit. Information on the product and concept are detailed.
