Safer anchor handling
Article Abstract:
The working of ODIM's 'safe anchor handling system' (SAHS), which has been fitted in the new hull design, ULSTEIN X-BOW, from Ulstein Group are presented. The safe anchor handling system is a safer solution for handling and retrieving anchors, which in turn removes personnel from hazardous area and creates a safe working environment for the crew on deck.

Closing the power gap
Article Abstract:
2000 CR engine series technology has a 10 cylinder engine and is specially designed for ship propulsion. The 10 cylinder engine had a 20 percent higher output and it closed the power gap between the eight and the 12 cylinder version equipped with three exhausts turbochargers of in-house design and manufacture.
