Subsea solution is a triumph

Article Abstract:

The performance of underwater work without interruption of cruise vessel schedule is discussed in the light of the successful completion of repair work on the cruise vessel Triumph by Subsea Solutions Alliance. It performed a complete aft seal replacement without any oil contamination to the marine environment or seawater contamination to the shaft bearings.

Emergency repair to the Pacific sky

Corrosion to down flooding ducts on P&O Princess cruise's Pacific Sky led to 18 days loss from service as repairs were conducted. The repairs were completed at the Babcock naval dockyard, in Devonport, New Zealand.
