War has little impact on the region's yards

Article Abstract:

The conflict in March and April 2003 occurred due to the level of enquiries that remained high with many regular clients continuing to support the yard, with no real drop in the number of vessels docked and showed that Bahrain was a safe place to visit. It was concluded that once the situation on Iraq was stabilized then the market would certainly pick-up and the result would be an increase in work for ASRY.

Article Abstract:

Coach crafters in Northfield, Minnesota have planned a unique way to pay tribute to Rosa Parks who had made a historic refusal, 50 years ago, to give up her seat to a white passenger. On December 1, 2005 they would unveil a 1955 model General Motors transit bus that would remind everyone of the incident that led to the famous U.S. Supreme Court ruling of 1956 that banned segregation on city transit vehicles.
