How the body works

Article Abstract:

The Body Shop is opening a visitor centre at its new manufacturing site at Littlehampton, England. Factory tours will begin on Nov 27, 1992. The initiative aims to provide information on the philosophy and operation of the company. Organisers anticipate at least 100,000 visitors per annum. Six guides will lead 90 minute tours of the facility every 20 minutes. The centre will cater for school parties, corporate entertainment and educational projects. The centre will provide invaluable publicity for the Body Shop.

Literary beginnings

Article Abstract:

A National Centre for Literature has been planned to open in Swansea, Wales on Mar 1, 1995 as part of Swansea's year as City of Literature and Writing. It aims to provide a cultural focus for the city. Architect, Will Alsop won a competition for design of the complex. Construction will be phased according to resources. Phase one will cost six million pounds sterling. However, the project depends on a grant of three million pounds from the Foundation for Sport and the Arts.

Harm Tegelaars

Article Abstract:

Archer Group has achieved a lot in its 15 years since it was founded by Harm Tegelaars, its managing director. The management operator has 1,800 members of staff. Its three operating arms are Centre Court Tennis, Latchmere Leisure and Civic Leisure. Latchmere is in charge of Metropolitan health clubs, while Civic Leisure deals with local authority contracting.
