Redefining Ricky's

Article Abstract:

Surrey, British Columbia-based Ricky's Restaurants Ltd launched a full- scale brand repositioning program for its chain of Ricky's All Day Grill restaurants in summer 1998. Company Pres Frank Frank DiBenedetto noted that his restaurants were primarily doing breakfast and lunch business prior to the repositioning effort. The strategy aims to move Ricky's restaurants from a mix of 70% breakfast and lunch and 30% dinner to a more 50-50 business mix.
