Bring back the big bass

Article Abstract:

The recovery of the Atlantic stripped bass is discussed. There has been a decline in the number of trophy-sized bass. According to the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) and Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) report, a more stable and sustainable fishery can be fostered for a long time by reducing fishing pressure.

Saving turtles can save fish

Article Abstract:

State and federal authorities are setting stricter limits on the use of drift gillnets and longliners in an effort to save the sea turtles that are being caught in the nets. Protecting turtles from harmful commercial fishing practices can aid sport fishing activities because the measures also protect fish.
