Shark hunter Frank Mundus achieved a reputation as an excellent shark fisherman but one who does not respect his customers or quarry. He built a shark fishing industry in the 1950s off the shore of Long Island, NY. He was the role model for the character of Quint in Peter Benchley's book 'Jaws.'
