The food, ambience and service in sixteen restaurants in Washington DC, out of which of thirteen are on the list of 100 very best restaurants, are described. Some of these restaurants, including the Inn at Little Washington and L'Auberge Chez Francois, need reservation a month in advance, as tables book quickly.

Love those crab cakes

Crab cakes can be well-prepared, depending on the quality of the crabmeat despite the importance of cooking technique. Some of the top nine crab cake outlets are listed including the Sea Catch Restaurant, Melrose, and Phillips Flagship.
