Why are service rifle scores improving?
Article Abstract:
The reason is the ammunition used. From 1921 to 1968, the ammunition used was special manufactured type. After 1968, military support for contest was dropped and ammunition quality did also. This 1980 event used a special lot prepared under strict production control.
